Craigengelt window
In memory of John Dick of Craigengelt, for some time Provost (Mayor) of Stirling. The subjects of this window are:
"Come unto me, all that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest"
"I am the Resurrection and the Life"
"Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out"
The figure of a slave in chains in the left hand side is a very unusual feature in any stained glass window. The window was erected in 1869 by the sister and nephew of John Dick, who died 22nd April 1865. window location
